    Default Gaga/A Star is Born

Anybody see A Star is Born? We loved it. Cooper should get an award. For something. So should Sam Elliott. For the time he almost cries.

But to the point: we love Lady G. She kills it all the time. My wife and I are kind of obsessed with her. We sing together a lot and have been busting out her tunes a lot lately. Her songs are just so good. They go great on a ukelele too. So simple, so amazing. No one performs like her. And yeah it's pop and I have a much more refined palate than that in real life, but no apologies from me for liking LG. She rules. Nice flick. A great update to the Hollywood Myth.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed the film.

Some people like to trash Gaga; I'm not one of 'em. Chopin she ain't, but I really enjoy her music (and performances).

Yes and we love her. It was a very good movie. Terrific music and a real story.

If you have not seen the version with Chris Christopherson and Babawah you should....great chemistry.

Grew up with the Streisand soundtrack on heavy rotation thanks to mom. I complained then, as a kid will, but ever since I've had nothing but respect for the singular singer she was/is. I also think highly of lady gaga. Talent is talent. Quite a lineage of lead women in that story, I hear Judy Garland was pretty good.

I must admit I have no idea what kind of music is she doing. I'm pretty sure I have heard the songs on radio while driving but am not a big pop fan and usually don't mind who is singing.

i think Lady Gaga is one of the best musicians of my generation. i was kind of 'meh' until i heard her perform some acoustic, unedited songs. holy crap. i'd pay a decent amount of money to see her do a live, acoustic show. incredible talent.

and the movie was great. type of movie i'll actually buy.
