    Default San Antonio eats

    Hey all,
I'm in San Antonio for a conference. Any recommendations for local eats by the conference center on the river walk?

    Thanks
    Chad

Not sure where the conference center is as I don't do business stuff down there, but La Gloria is a place I really enjoy on the river walk, down by the old Pearl Brewery. When the weather is nice it's a good location to sit outside and enjoy some fresh air.

Go to El Mercado, its a short walk from the Riverwalk. Its a big fantastic collection of mexican shops, food carts, and restaurants. Its hot right now, so eat inside at Mi Tierra, fantastic place. Be sure you make it by El Mercado (Market Square for you gringos)
