I am not communicating very clearly what I am asking about. I know manufactures/team names fairly well, I am wondering if any of the auto/motorcycle manufacturers had fun names for their race/development programs? Not unlike Lockheed Martin's black-ops development program was called "Skunk Works" if that makes sense.

Night Train was the underground sci-tech operation that crossed over from the Odd Thomas series and the Christopher Snow series (by Dean Koontz). Lots of weird stuff happened around that...
