Friends.
Forecast was for 8-12" of heavy April Fools snow. We got 1/2" so far. Just might get a spring here after all...

It's not raining. In fact, it's sunny and mild.
My daughter's coming to visit for five days.
My very favorite holiday is next week.
GO!
I ran injured so my 3:40 marathon wasn't going to happen. Seeing my Patient Partner at the Mile 25 Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge cheering section made it all worth while. The heat, the pain, no biggie. As of this writing, I have raised $11,762.90, 100% of which goes directly towards innovative basic cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. When all is said and done I should have about $12,250. It is that I am most proud of in my 8 Boston Marathons for charity. The medal is the icing on the cake.
I rode today with a good friend at a friendly pace in the sunshine on quiet roads. Doesn't get much better.
My cousin's kid is a New York Giant. Now we just need Eli to wrap us his career.

I'm running my first marathon Sunday as a year anniversary celebration of the hip replacement.
I've had to pass on rides constantly because I had to go run xx miles instead.
The good word is that after Sunday,
I'm going going, back back to cycling cycling.
