I thought it was happening - good to hear it from someone much closer to the scene than I. It almost seems like the 911 market sets the floor for the rest of the sports car market. As in, a Euro SC used to be ($$) but is now ($$$$) so X car that used to be ($) is now a deal at ($$) because perspectives change.

Picked up the car last night and drove it from Monterey to the bay area in a massive rain storm :) Not ideal for the first drive but oh well..... Went with the C2 991.2 base after much debate on the various models ! Pictures later. Feeling a bit like a kid at Christmas.

Congrat's! She sounds beautiful. Welcome to the best groundhog day; every morning when you walk into your garage it will start over.

Agree; next he'll be riding Shimano.

Keepin' it Euro-classy on the first date taking her to Quiznos!

Seriously, that is a beautiful car. Drive her hard but put her away nice and dry.

After the first day of driving this is going to be very hard to keep a driver's license. Before you know it you are at 110mph.

Take a HPDE class so you are allowed to participate in track days. That suppressants the need for speed itch.
