Been through that. Updated land surveys are your friend. And the deed "should" show any easements.
It's a risk but you can always offer "the loser pays both attorney's fees" and see if they back down.
My last neighbors chose to push forward until their lawyer apparently said to them in front of our lawyer, "You will lose. You do not have an easement on their property. Actually, the Utilities have an easement on your property. Stop fighting or they (meaning me and my wife) might litigate for harassment and trespassing.
If I ever purchase property again, I will never purchase a home that has a driveway that abuts the neighbors driveway. Too many people (mostly visitors and service people) and the neighbors think it is a shared driveway.
