Made it to July 28th before getting my first summer chigger bites. A record. Which would be my Thursday grump: @#%&ing devil mites.
what can i say?
Monday was pretty horrible. Bad day at work, bad day with wife's ex. Was about to call it a night...went to go shut the garage door and it fell off one side of the tracks. Completely out of the blue. I just kinda stood there...one of those Truman show moments.
But damn did the week turn around. You guys have made this one of the best damn Fridays I've ever had.

I'll see my kid tomorrow.
GO!
I rode outside for the first time in 10 days today and bumped into a friend who led me to some other friends I hadn't seen in a while so we stopped for coffee and I wasn't in a rush and it was great to catch up with everyone.
I have a Firefly stem out for delivery to put a finishing touch on the new bike.
And this little dude is starting to smile (don't let the photo fool you) which is pretty amazing. I've been working long hours this week and can't wait to get some time with him this weekend.
Eff'yeah Friday!

I might put a 2014 super record group on my commuter bike, just because.
My wife showed up at the office for lunch today. An unexpected hour with her is all I need to be reminded how awesome it is to be alive and one life with her probably won't be enough.

Got four days off now, no cycling, but taking the family to London to see the sights. Staying at the site of 2012 Olympics, going to see the Stadium, swim in the Olympic pool, then over the Thames on the cable car, Greenwich Observatory, Cutty Sark, Planetarium, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge etc. I used to live in London and am there for work quite often, but it takes on a different shape when you see the faces of 6 and 3 y/o boys light up.
I've been working on robots this week, it's fun
This afternoon I get to view the results of my daughter's week at film camp.
And we're scheduling her test to get her driving learner's permit next week. (AH!)

I'm gonna pick up a band saw tonight and make a ton of sawdust this weekend.
IV antibiotics work and I did not lose my foot.
It's our anniversary. 21 years. We're at the beach for a few days eating sushi, surfing, lounging and playing Pokemon go.
With AB controls that's definitely industrial grade. Nice one.
it's taken 3 months, 1 round of shockwaves, multiple X-rays, a handfull of prescriptions for codeine and Flomax, and drained the bank, but...
I FINALLY PASSED MY BIG KIDNEY STONE.
