    Default CX Seat Tube Pulley

    Hi Michael,

Is the Art. 589 pulley the one you're referring to at Ceeway? Also, what sealed bearing pulleys are folks using?

    Thanks,
    John

The ones in a stash I have from 1993 when they were still valid.

    Purple, too!

    Hi John,

the ones I found with the sealed bearing are from Gunsha ( http://www.cyclocross-store.de/en/fr...eur-pulley-cnc ) in Germany. They sell for 16.90 Euro, or about $18.86 USD. They show red & black on their website, but they only have silver. I bought two when I got them. If you are interested in one, send me a PM.

McMaster Carr 6383K14 part number. You can also use the sealed version of this. The unsealed version requires a bit more maintenance but I've used pulleys like this for nearly a decade.

Endiro and Problem Solvers have them. I hear a screen door wheel will work. Shimano must make the one with the plastic cover, but they are hard to find. I think the covers are more trouble than help, I find they fill up with grass and mud. This is an interesting alternative. http://www.speen.de/Docs/Specification%20Umlenker.pdf
