i haven't shot many build pics for a long time because i was getting jaded
with digi and also never fully understood the G10 that i bought to replace
the old mavica we got for free for attending a seminar. that was a POS
camera but man could it work at macro. i think i finally get the tulip thing
on the canon, and shot some bench action of how i carve the fork topper
to give it the relief line. note: the fork gets built, the crown is file thinned,
a roll of electric tape is laid down as a site line, and i make a hacksaw cut.
it always sucks when i lean too hard. typical f'builder that i am, when i screw
up i throw it in the export pile. the folks overseas never send stuff back.
hey - that was levity atmo. i'll paste in the four shot limit the V software
allows and the rest will be at flickr, along with another 8,000 or so of my
best pics atmo. click here for the fork topper gallery atmo. ps sorry steve
i know it's thursday but dazza started it.
The CNC should start wizzing on most of those parts Monday morning...
Wednesday is a visit to the tubing fairy to get a right proper flare going in a few of the tube ends... Aluminum is fun like that.
