    Pickup truck ad on the radio: "...with its military-grade aluminum body..."

    That's not what's chapping my ass. What's chapping my ass is that I don't have a .50 cal and a belt of cartridges to show just how stupid that claim is. That and some twit thought there's enough other twits out there that would respond favorably to that kind of idiotic twaddle.

    Similar grump on anything "aerospace grade"...

    Mine -- I had a 2-day "class" last week for work, basically a 2-day rally that ended with what can only be characterized as an altar-call. Seriously. To top it off, my time for one of the days was the last day of the pay period, and with the class being off-site, I couldn't input my time to the online system until Monday. So today's paycheck is a day short. [grumble]

    And yet, I bet for everyone of you, there's three idiots salivating at the prospect of putting themselves into considerable debt for a $60K truck because, you know, military.

    we filed a motion to move wifey's divorce decree down here, as well as a petition to modify it.

    her ex did the same thing, apparently a few days after us. so when he got served, he thought he was getting copies of the paperwork he sent us. and apparently lost, or threw away, the papers he was served. OOPS.

    i don't know that it's necessarily chapping my ass, but it pretty typical of how things have gone, which is rather frustrating.

    I'd be hard pressed to find an aluminum that doesn't have a military spec.

    The twits vote, too. Remember that.

    Bernie Sanders, your campaign advance team is a bunch of amateurs. A town hall in Reading, PA? When 8 miles north on 183 you could be in BERNVILLE? People could gather on the ski hill at Blue Marsh - it would be just like a Phish concert at Mad River Glen circa 1997...

    Get it together.

    This week we've:

    1. Met with architects about remodeling;
    2. Met with landscapers about our, uh, landscape;
    3. Serviced the sump pump and priced out burying the drainage line;
    4. Serviced the tankless water heater;
    5. Repaired a fireplace; and
    6. Repaired three windows.

    The house improves, the bank account depletes.

    This is only a partial grump I guess...

    I love the line in The Postman, where Tom Petty comes out of the dam to greet Kevin Costner.

    KC: "Hey, I know you. Aren't you famous?"

    TP: "I used to be."
