I'd like a frame pump but, I don't think my frame would like a frame pump.

Here's a vote to put this thread in velocipedia sub-forum. This place rocks.

Another happy customer with a Impero Ultimate pocket pump.
Way better than the pocket pump I previously used.
I expect it to last a long time, and the warranty does to.
I'll just voice an opinion that using a mini pump just ain't all that bad. Sure it takes a lot of strokes, but just crank 'em out and you are back on the road in minutes. Small, light, not so bad to use, what's the problem. Sure a frame pump is better, but it's also big, heavy and , IMHO, ugly.

And it isn't obvious but the head tube is kind of air foiled so it's kind of an edge instead of round.
Truss. If you are handy? Make a small plastic/rubber/cork shape which fits onto the back of your headtube and hot glue it in place.

I never would have thought of that. My biggest immediate concern would be probably needing to at least scuff the clear coat for the glue to take hold. I think I may give the pocket model a shot. I feel like there is a greater chance of success there. Truth be told I've yet to have any real issues with CO2 after all of this time. But an actual pump offers some real advantages, even a pocket one. And I do like to do good by the environment when I can.
For over 10 years, I've carried a Topeak Road Morph wrapped in a sock and shoved up under my shorts on the outside of my right thigh. A good conversation starter.

The seat stay is a wishbone.
FWIIW Hot glue sticks to clearcoat just fine.

The Quicker Pro Pump moves a lot for its small size. In fact I sometimes use it before hitting the road when I don't feel like going back to my apartment for the floor pump. Plus, as far as I know, it's the only thing I own made in Sweden.
Teach me about frame pumps. My Hampsten came with a pump peg but I've never had one. 58cm with a 1 degree slope. Are they different lengths? A must have?
