Default Kitchen Storage solutions and other useful flotsam

Goin' all Downton Abbey in my pots and pans.
Ordered from (gasp) Costco on the cheap.
Will report back once assembled and populated.
Appears to be the real deal and for sure a perfect solution for me growing pots and pans problem.

I like having them hang overhead, either above a large island or on the wall near the ceiling.

Ordinarily agreed. My plan is to utilize a short corner for the freestanding rack than at a later date fabricate a stainless steel wall system behind the rack.

The problem with open air horizontal storage somewhere as busy as a kitchen is anything you don't use daily needs to be washed again before you use it. Or at least that can become troublesome.

If you have a bare wall and don't want a chandelier of cookware, you are 'too tall', nail some weathered looking planks on it and go to town with hooks.

We live in an autoclave. Not a problem the house is ridiculously clean...but I hear you. For the price of admission I get to free up two large kitchen cabinet storage drawers and stop storing my large stock pot onto the range.

Just struck me that we have more bikes than pots and pans. That makes me happy.
