Yep. I really like him, too. Also liked how he reacted to the people yesterday who made him fall. Nice to see he's got it in him.

Can't wait to hear Trump's reply

" The papacy hasn't won anything since the Crusades!!!! Francis is the weakest pope since Alexander VI."

The Pope is probably right...but then again, he is the head of an organisation that is itself not Christian...

IMO the Pope should stay out of politics.

    I mean no disrespect, but...

How many refugees has the vatican taken in? Last I looked, Vatican City is surrounded by walls. And armed guards.

The Vatican could sell a fraction of it’s artwork and feed millions of people, instead they tell others to be charitable.

And before you ask, I’m roman catholic.

I'm not so sure it has walls, but it does have guards (Swiss from memory).

On the charitable front...it does have vast wads of money and must surely have the one of the best real estate portfolios in the world, but seeks to puts all sorts of obstacles in the way of people getting compensation for child abuse. It has hired one of the most expensive silks in Australia ($20,000 plus a day) to ensure our leading Catholic does not have to travel to Australia to give evidence. Instead he will be able to give evidence via video link. As an aside, if you are 74 and in charge of the Vatican's finances and chose to use a heart problem as a reason why you can't fly from Rome to Australia (and certainly not in economy class), surely you should be retiring?

Covering up child abuse for years and in fact moving the perpetrators from place to place so they could continue buggering small children is hardly the act of a Christian organisation.
