    Default T47 ebb

    Hey folks,

I really like the new T47 design (it has threads!!), but I was thinking how sweet it would be to have a threaded EBB that gave you more adjustability than say the Philcentric EBB or the one made by TrickStuff. 2.5mm is not really enough adjustment especially when dealing with a belt. I would think the same amount of adjustment we get out of a PF30 EBB would be doable with a T47 shell (with 24mm spindle).

I love the way the Philcentric looks but I really like the design of the TrickStuff one because it's infinitely adjustable (ideal for a belt). Something like the TrickStuff one with some wrenches so that you could grip it to really tighten things up for a belt in a T47 shell would be the dream.

Does anyone know if this is something anyone is working on / thinking about? Would others be interested in this?

    Thanks!

Make one for a 30mm spindle too.

I have an eccentric for pf30 and I haven't had a need for any threads. Threads plus ebb is kind of a waste, imo.

Sure, I've used the Problem Solvers one on some commuters with good results although kind a hard to tighten enough for a belt drive. I've found that a lot of folks are weary of going with a PF30 on a mtn bike. Mostly because they have had creaking issues in the past. That being said it certainly doesn't seem to hurt niner bikes.

Hellafab, what EBB do you use? Do you make your own? Thanks!

    I the problem solvers EBB.

If you cant tighten it enough, chuck it in the mill and mill two faces on it for a large wrench. I use mine for tandem timing chain, tightness and creaking haven't been a problem... but I bought the PF30 facer and reamer to do it myself so they are square and properly sized post weldment on the frame.
