    Default Lug ID

    Hello all!

I have collected a few sets of lugs over the years for which I have no clear I.D. Would you mind helping? The first two are of a heavy sandcast set. The second is stamped and welded steel, minus a seat lug. The third is Pregnant, maybe? Thanks in advance!

Nice to see you here cjroot2004.
The I.D.s would be 25.4mm top, 28.6mm down and seat, and 31.8mm head.

    Thanks!

I really meant identification, as in the original manufacturer of the lug. Sorry for the confusion!

    Hey Chris,

I remember you from Alex Wetmore's old Frame builders email list, back in the early 2000's. You ran that Anglefire site that had a bunch of frame builders supply info on it.

Ha! I just looked it up, it's still alive and kicking. A real trip down memory lane, some of the names and companies listed there, some of whom are no longer around.

Sorry, I've got no info on the lugs. Just saying hello.

Yes, that's me! Thanks for picking up on that! I have been slowly dipping my toe back in the bicycle frame building water! Spent the last 10-15 years getting my undergrad degree (Dartmouth), dental degree, building a home, family, business, raising a child, the usual! Loving it though. Maybe I can actually update the website sometime? I'm really impressed with the variety of the supplies available now, as well as the quality of the online forums!
