Whoops, I used the wrong figure of speech. I was referring the the "LS" visible on the lugs. I know they're cast lugs.

Hmm - I dont know but it looks like those lugs are intended for full oval down and top tube not for opposed-oval tubes like columbus max ???!!!

Yeah that's what I thought the photos looked like too, but I asked and Peter says they're for the standard MAX top and down tube.

I bought a full set of MAX tubes from him in July, so I'm pretty sure he has stock.

I've got a Pinarello Vuelta w/ varying diameter top and down tube and it does vary a lot. It's called arx tubing but that's just a way for Pina to not tell what is there. Does anyone know if it's intended to ride like the max tubeset or if it's the same concept? Bike is stiff.. mine is a 54cm and i am not a big guy so it is STIFF. Very nice for cornering as it does not think twice when asked to change direction. btw.. it's lugged and not heavy.

What are those lugs labelled so I can find them on Ceeway?
I seem to have a hard time with that website, I missed them on the new page and the lug page.
    thanks

MX Lugset, about 2/3 of the way down on the lugs page. Says in the description it's not for bioval and you can see a transverse long axis at the head tube lug.

It seems that the Polish based builder, Rychtarski has MAX lugs. Their most recent FB posting shows one such frame but there have been numerous lugged MAX frames posted in the past year.

Long time lurker first time poster.

I bought two sets a few years back since I knew they were running out. At that point Ceeway wasn't selling the lugs unless you bought a complete set w/ tubes.

I've listed my spare set on eBay for anyone who is really desperate for a MAX frame. I'm not giving them away because there's a part of me that still wants a matching track frame for my Kumo Cycles cross bike.

Yes, one (1) legacy steel lug and tubeset for $2,500 Australian... you are definitely not "giving them away."

Speaking of Dedacciai tapered tubes, can anyone chime in on the features like butt lengths and the way they taper? If using the 31.8x28.6 tube as a seat tube do you use a 31.8 front derailleur clamp does the tube start tapering before that point? Anyone here use them with lugs?

Not sure about dedacciai tube but Ceeway appears to have old EL-OS (31.8/28.6) tapered seatubes that taper closer to the the top than where the FD would go if that's something you're looking for.

Also, the guy in the Netherlands that I bought two lug/bb sets from recently offered me two full fork kits with original blades and dropouts for $90 each. I passed but I could provide his info if anyone is interested.
