    Default Super Bowl Fare

Here's the plan on my end:

Tomorrow AM I'll meet up with buddy and stuff 5lbs of brats and do a 12-pc cutup of a chicken. Brine chicken in buttermilk seasoned with Nongshim ramen seasoning.

Toward gametime will fry up the brats and carmelize some onions low and slow and keep warm. Chicken gets dipped in more seasoned buttermilk and dipped in dry ramen noodles processed to flour-like consistancy mixed with Nongshim and Sapporo Ichiban seasoning, then into the fryer, then dusted with more seasoning.

Got some gyoza made earlier this week and frozen as well that will be fried/steamed and served with rayu/vinegar/soy sauce.

No real theme, no real continuity, just delicious junk.

Anyway, I want to hear what you've got cooking, and don't be shy with the pictures.

    That is really creative.
Boring here, lots of junk, food.
I roasted a whole turkey today. Will slice it up for sammies on fresh bread. Lots of sides and homemade slaw. Guests are bringing oodles of evil extras.

    Boxer, sounds incredible.

No plans tomorrow, so regular ol' chili will do it.

I'm going to the movies. No crowds. Might smuggle in a soda.

I still smuggle in 20pc nuggets once in a while. Only time I eat McDonalds anything.

Let me just say that I'm "watching the Super Bowl" only as an excuse to cook and eat. I don't even like the commercials. I'm afraid they might have let GoDaddy.com buy ad time again this year :/

I got about 6.5 lb chunk of pork belly and am going to take a second crack at this. I overcooked it last time and it was good even then.

What with my Indian curry dish, my cookoff-loser pot of chili and the brunch I just made for my family, I spent hours and hours in the kitchen this week. Tonight, it's Costco rotisserie chicken, some Blazin' Cheetos™ and a can or two of Tecate.

I hosted my annual Super Bowl party last night. About 30 people showed up this year.

I can't believe I forgot to take pictures. .but I made some Honey-Sriracha chicken fingers. And I also made the best ever football food; hot dog wrapped in Bratwurst wrapped in Bacon.

We also had wings, lasagna, dips, and lots of beer.
