Yo SteveP...
Remember that snow blower you borrowed last year? I'm gonna need that back ASAP.

Hahahahahhah. Local media is not admitting we are going to get buried....the usual. It is going to be a hoot.

We live down by the end of the Canal in Sandwich. We can tell how bad a storm is going to be by the number of weather and news trucks are in the area! I'll report tomorrow.
Hang in there.
Bonus points for vsalon pics.

I'm ready. I squeezed one last bike ride in balmy 40+ degree weather. -Mike G
I think he's doing a version of CYA. No one wants to get caught underestimating a storm anymore, so therefore every storm is the storm of the century. I'm confident conditions will be shitty in a lot of places. In my own 'hood, it all boils down to which way the wind is blowing off the water. I've seen 4 inches when surrounding communities got a foot.
I'm just sick of the hour long news conferences where they try to scare the pee out of people. I stumbled into a grocery store today looking for sushi rice and there had to be 300 people on line, as if armegeddon were coming. It's not, just a bunch of snow.
Give me an accurate, honest, non-hyped weather forecast. That's all I need. Skip the dramatics, please.
14-24 inches for Philadelphia. I won't be able to drive down my "street" for a good 10 days.
"As an homage to the EPOdays of yore- I'd find the world's last remaining pair of 40cm ergonomic drop bars.....i think everyone who ever liked those handlebars in that shape and in that width is either dead of a drug overdose, works in the Schaerbeek mattress factory now and weighs 300 pounds or is Dr. Davey Bruylandts...who for all I know is doing both of those things." - Jerk
What do people do with all that bread and milk they buy at the crowded grocery stores? O.D on French Toast?
Those are some weak ass Cali cows. Could never make it in New England. Beautiful green hills and azure mountain lakeside meadows are over rated.
I'm going to do my best to make it up north monday night for skiing, we'll see, I will have to bank on the office closing to do it, if I don't want to risk it as much, tuesday morning it is. Makes me wish we had 4 wheel drive...
Forget the milk and bread. I have to run out and buy a fat bike.
I hope to be able to ski down my block in Brooklyn.
Blizzard? I think we usually refer to this as "more snow" in NH.
Looking forward to it. Bring it Old Man Winter!
