Squirrel shit all over my car. Avoidable, but annoying.

I've been on my bike twice in the last two weeks. Brought a nasty cold back from Illinois, and it's just HANGING ON. And all three of us have it. Yep, makes taking care of the 14-month-old a real joy. Plus my wife is headed back to Illinois today for her aunt's funeral. No tag-team child care for the next three days...

Long time listener, first time caller.... Current work contract ends in 4 months and I cannot find a new job (PhD with 5 yrs post-doc experience in infectious disease). No callbacks, no nuthin! The worst part is, that I will be unemployed in Wisconsin in February.

why don't real estate transactions happen as quickly as they do on TV? I give you my offer, you call the agent, agent calls the owner, owner says yes or no.

came up again, today. wifey called insurance company to confirm that it was indeed a $10,000 deductible per individual per year. yep. bio dad has made it a point to remind wifey and I on the regular that he is paying for the boys' incredibly good insurance.

turns out it's about $40/mo. super awesome insurance.

My wife ran over a fucking pipe on Rt 128, tearing up the bottom of the car and scaring the crap out of her.

The insurance co. wants us to pay the deductible since they can't go after the moron who dropped it. And then they'll probably want to raise our rates since we've had an accident. All for $400.
    GO!

As the husband of a realtor, I understand your pain. And your realtor most likely does as well. Offers are somewhat binding. Verbal offers are lame and unless the realtors are good friends or have worked with each other on past deals, there's a 100% chance that there will be a misunderstanding of terms - which will be found out when the actual offer is presented or much later down the line likely killing a deal and you'll wonder why it wasn't figured out in the first place. My wife's had deals fall through because of table lamps. It's a difficult industry and situation because people get attached to homes and objects.

    Also, TV transactions are fake.

Maybe I can muster up another grump ...

I can't find the sweet spot in bibs. It's either nothing or mid to high $200's. There has to be a more cost friendly option. I need a full bib refresh at the moment.

Check out Tenspeed Hero and Team Dream Bicycling Team. Options from $125 to $200.

I'm with Velobran on my bibs....I currently have about 1 pair that isn't in the twilight of their life. I loved my assos bibs, but their time is nearly through. I don't want to switch but I also can't afford to drop half a G on a few new pairs of bibs.....

I hate halloween, and costume parties, and all the cheap plastic crap and candy that comes with it. But I do like roasted pumpkin seeds and rum-spiked cider.

Oh, I totally get it -- it's just that HGTV has saturated my mind with these fake transactions and set forth unrealistic expectations, even though I know better.

To follow that grump, now they selling agent is expecting another offer today to present to further delay our finding anything out. And if they end up beating us out by not a lot, I'm going to be kicking myself for not moving last week on this and letting my wife hem and haw...

6 months on the market and he's gonna get two offers in 24 hours.... keep telling myself if it's meant to be, it will be.

I'll add more grumps on bibs and this time I'll be specific. This will likely cause more grumps. But I gotta get this off my chest.

Rapha classics - stretch out, fade (material wears in odd way that seems like fading), threads unravel everywhere.
Rapha pros - rip around the crotch stitching (hey, what can I say?), leg band ripped apart from leg.
Assos - nuke-withstanding construction, but faded from sun exposure - so they are 1/2 brown. This is not their fault, it's my problem.
Verge - I'd rather glue razor blades to my assos chamois than ride in verge bibs.

Lastly - Texmarket - please sell something w/o branding or available to the public so I don't have to go the custom route to get in your kit.

Now, I'm going to return to my regularly scheduled program of scouring the internet for bibs I want to try.
