I wait two weeks to get eleven words translated by a colleague's staff.
Less than two days later she wants to know when I'm going to be finished reprogramming our phone system and coordinating the recording of the new greetings.
I hate working with this woman.
    Hate it.
    GO!

I had two incredible weeks of cycling 400+ miles each. A great commute yesterday and then I woke up this morning and my Rheumatoid Arthritis was effecting me so much, that I could barely drag myself out of bed. F_ck this disease.

Going on 4 hours in the jury lounge - no panels called yet, no communication, no idea. Bah.

Proving beyond any tiny shred of remaining doubt that I can't be trusted with good things, I have yet again (for about the third or fourth time) forgotten a quality razor in a hotel. The error of my ways was discovered about 10 minutes ago and now I have some orphaned blades (Schick Quattro) laying around. I may have to revert to disposables for my travels, which accounts for 75% of my shaving because I am a giant slob when I'm at home and don't always look presentable.

This is 100% my fault and so I'm raging at myself. I think I'm going to go ride my bike now. What could possibly go wrong with that....???

Everyone put your phone down and drive. Lately i have missed many lights either driving or on my bike due to distracted drivers. It's unreal on the highway yesterday everyone driving 10 under the speed limit were on the phone not even looking at the road ahead.

About a mile form home, sun going down on a ride last night. Glad I had lights, front and back. Great ride, I’m happy as a clam.

A car veered close, coming up from behind, some guy screamed “YEAHHHHHHHHH”, and not in a complimentary way, meant to startle me.

Car then came to a stop 30 yards up the road at a stop light.

I rolled up, yelled at the 20yr or so old guy in the back passenger seat, window still down: YOU GOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO SAY TO ME??

I sized up the situation: 4 people, 2 boys, 2 girls., yeller wearing a tie (?), could grab that and pull him out the window…slow speed, heavy traffic both ways, so lots of “witnesses”….

    Kid said: I said yeaaaahhhhhhhh….

Me: IS THAT THE FNKN” BEST YOU GOT, REALLY, YOU WASTE MY TIME WITH THAT?

Him: “it’s ok, man, you got this, you got this.”

Me: "What I got is your plate number asshole, and you better get to where you’re going before I get to the station…"

    Light changes, they go.

What grinds my gears, is idiots in cars who do crap like this (had a bottle tossed at me the day before), and MY own bike rage…I should know better, but I let anger take over…I know better. Can’t wait for D2R2 this weekend, I need to chill...

Can't decide whether or not I feel bad for TOm Danielson getting motherfucked on twitter/Facebook. You live with your choices I guess.

Also holy shit I hate that I have no legal means of obtaining one of Richie's team bikes.

We've had an incredible summer in VA. Actually, one of the best summers I can ever remember in my lifetime. Cool temps and rain that hasn't really interfered in any of the weekend rides.

Sunday forecast for Stokesville, VA and the SM100; periods of sun and a thunderstorm.

FKM. It's going to be repeat of last year (and the year before).

Three men are tortured and beaten in a house way the hell down in Southwest Philadelphia. Their assailants then drive them to a well-lit parking lot along Kelly Drive (which is itself well lit), and throw them in the Schuylkill? Here is a tip - if you've just committed murder in Southwest Philadelphia, you're already in an ideal location to dispose of bodies. I won't enumerate them for you, but multiple bodies of water and wooded areas where police are highly unlikely to be driving past at 4am...

My mother in law is staying with us for the foreseeable future. She's not stable. Yesterday, in the hour before waking up and going to school my mostly laidback 5th grader got on her nerves enough to send her to the emergency room so she could get a psych eval and hopefully jacked back up on Xanax. I'm grumpy because they sent her home. I was really hoping the hospital had a special floor with locks and padded walls for fukcing crazy people. And that wasn't even the big news around my house yesterday. Please, bring on Friday!

Sounds like a tough situation, one that I’m destined to share sometime soon...
When my mother-in-law drives me insane, I just look at my wife and remind myself of how much i love her, and that seems to help a bit.

Strangely enough, I get along better with my MIL than my wife. Guess that's why she won't be my MIL much longer. Time for the next chapter I guess.

Ha! I look at my wife and feel thankful she's like her Father's side of the family.

I'm not sure how to deal with someone who finds a way to poison every relationship she's ever been in. My wife moved out the day she practically turned 18. We will be getting her out soon, hopefully.

im in a training program, in a new rotation. coworker went on maternity leave and i took on all her work. she's really fucking good at her job, she was a buyer for 9 years and then in this sourcing role for 4 so she knows how to communicate with suppliers and buyers. i've been in two completely unrelated positions prior, and i don't know what i'm doing more than half the time. she was the one training me, so with her gone i have a rather dim coworker to "help" me (who cant explain something worth a damn) and an overworked lawyer who expects exactly what she received from the woman im standing in for. all i need is some guidance, and i can't find it.

and i keep getting emails from people who think im competent, adding to the workload that im already overwhelmed by.

and the countdown to my 9/17 surgery is underway, if any of yall know any good exercises i can add to my fall/winter programming in addition to spinning please PM me.
