    Default Frame 5.

So this is really just a thank you to all the people who share their knowledge and experience here. I recently finished my 5th frame. It's an über-oversized travel bike. I'm heading for a 1200K in a few weeks, and I'm pretty psyched to have a go with a frame I built myself.

Corey Thompson coupled the frame for me. That's him cutting my perfectly good frame in half.

I very much like the feel of the über steel. I was curious if the fork might feel a bit too stiff for the long distance stuff I do, but I did a 600K last weekend, and I absolutely loved the ride. I kind of think tires and wheels are for comfort, but I like it when a frame feels very solid.

This has room for 32's and fenders since I live in Seattle. Oh, and it even fits!

Anyway, thanks for sharing with us hobbyists.

Nice job Joe! Making the drawing and doing the work to think it through pays off.
