Josh, true story, I borrowed my boss's Nikon dslr in 2000 to take pictures at a 9:30 Club show. I had my elbows on the stage shooting with a 50mm lens until the bouncer tapped me and told me I had to leave with my "pro" camera. So I walked out to my car to ditch the camera and you can guess what happened next: when I left the show later the driver's side window was smashed out and the camera and lens were gone. The worst part was I didn't have a jacket nor my girlfriend at the time now wifey and the 1.5 hour drive home was brutally cold. Sadly this was commonplace for the club's just not in a good area to not have surveillance or officers watching surrounding blocks.
"This is a song about some experiences that we had in Somerville, Massachusetts in a rehearsal space."
Nice.
Yesterday, I was thinking that I haven't tuned into my NPR station in years. Time to check in with them again.
TDC reminds me of the Black Cab Sessions:

Shhhh
This is secret shite. Tiny Desk Concerts!
I fell in love with Los Lobos TDC.
Yeah.
Los Lobos doing a Tiny Desk Concert. That sounds too good.
Reminds me of the old joke. Do you know what Los Lobos means in spanish? 5 fat Mexicans!
Don't worry, I grew up in the same neighborhood and I know their kids.
and this...
Los Lobos: Tiny Desk Concert : NPR
Drummer using an empty box...yup. Love it
The Tiny Desk has a version of "Home" that is way better than the studio recording, if you ask me. Don't ask me. I just told you. Just now.
"Home" is at 4:53ish in case you think you might lose interest before then.
P.S. If you hate weird dancing and facial expressions and hippies, don't bother.
