I don't know where I'm going but I'll know where I've been.
Pretty cool project, trace you history around the world.
My test kit is hopefully in the mail.

$200? It may be time for me to finally do this.
Keep us posted on what you find out, OK?

I grew up in Bayonne, in a row house just like the row houses on either side going three blocks in every direction. It was a working class, ethnic neighborhood with post-war families moving in and staying put for many decades. We had the P.A.L., the community swimming pool, stick ball, and The Good Humor truck. On Saturday's there was American Bandstand. In summer we hung out on Broadway and rated the fairer sex (we didn't call it that then atmo). We wore Flagg Brothers shoes, Wren shirts, and Resilio ties. And you never left the block without some product in your hair.

Well that gets us back to the last millenium. For a deeper dive, we're going to need Pucci.
But seriously. I stood in front of a cave in the Mt. Carmel range that had been used as a house by a bunch of folks for the last 500,000 years or so. A half million years of human(ish) habitation!
I am wondering if any of my mishpacha might have wandered by. Or whether I'm adopted. It would be cool to know imho.

Not as a thread drift but need to mine some memories here.
Maybe a year ago someone posted a link to a website where you enter all of your physical traits and it tells you what city or town or area in the world you are most like the people in.
I filled out the req's, hit enter and it came up with a town that was 60k from where my dads mom was born. Excitedly I call him to tell him how accurate the site was by getting within 60k and he said " its better than that, that's the town your Zaide is from"
For the life of me I cant find that website again.
