After a 350km week last week, 0 so far this week. Rains like hell too.
Startled out of bed last night by puking dog sounds, she sleeps under the covers in our bed. 4 different times. Tired as hell at work, dog is home sleeping...
Two weeks of indoor training is beginning to make me a little loopy.

I got nothin' personally. Actually everything is going pretty well in my house this week: tax return filed, announcement of a nice bonus at work...
Only thing I've got is my nephew. Girlfriend dumped him publicly on FB while he was in Honduras on a relief mission. Apparently she has a pattern, which this is just falling in with... And she still wants to be friends. He's a mess. A good kid, hurting bad. Told him to take a long MTB ride and clear his head.

I think I'm getting arthritis in my feet. They always hurt. :(
I'll do my pushups for this but I'm here to possibly help. I felt the same way for years and chalked it up to old age - turns out I was unaware I had high arches that had just weakened over time. I can happily run & hike now w/o needing an 85lb labrador to lay on my feet at night to crush the aches. Spenco moldable orthotics for my daily wear and Montrail high arch insole for my runners - still sorting out cycling shoes, but their natural stiffness doesn't exaggerate the flexing as much. Go see that podiatrist tomorrow on suckitgrump Friday.
I know I got in hot water for bitching about white bullshit, but I'm back at it:
Can I get, like, all the snow melted, immediately?
kthx
I was having trouble mustering any grump today, then I read this:
Elementary School in Utah Seizes Lunches From 40 Students in Debt
What. The. Fuck.
This is a week for weak grumps. I'm in central Florida and it is low 40's, raining and windy. Don't know how you guys up north do it.

Mike, I get insomnia too but I minimize it with a few basic routines. Lights low in the evening so there's a clear transition period from full gas to bedtime. Short dog walk after dinner. No glowing screens or alcohol of any kind for at least 30 minutes before lights out. At least 15 minutes of a good book or a note pad for writing about anything but work. 1/2 dose of Benadryl. Regular bed time. An open window or white noise (fan) when I can get my wife to go along with it.
If I don't keep these routines, I'm in for a grump.
Did my pushups this morning.
