As usual, a pleasure to read and loads of chewed knwoledge for free. So many truths inside, as usual, highly recommended read for anyone interested in making a life on frames.

Anyway, I'll keep insisting most of your writings deserves to become physical to be fully enjoyed on the touchable paper pleasure surounded by smells of ink.

    Thanks for sharing.

Good read Richard. Thanks for sharing.

And the most important part: Typed but signed. In ink. That matters.

    Lesson learned hum.

    Good read.

Absolutely! I always give preference to any customer application sent by post, handwritten and signed, as it definetly means something real is behind, which is a true treasure in this new time of like/share and 1001010101 needs. A hand is not fake

One of the many reasons I found this read so interesting is as you can actually see on a real big Cat's bones how an individual evolves, and how getting yourself into the real thing can actually transform you from "I thought this would be good" to "I know this works".

Two years later and on the other coast I was pestering a builder with similar requests: had to have the shortest cs possible, had to have a high bb for pedal clearance in criteriums, had to have a short wb, blah blah, etc. He didn't write me a letter.
...just to win a salami in ridiculous races.
