Brought potato leek soup to my daughter's school this morning for a potluck. At least the portion that didn't spill out of the crockpot when the lid came off during a massive .00000001g turn in a car I've owned for 2 months.

Had a nice time at the car wash, and if I get hungry, I can just suck on the carpet in the wayback.

Rained out of my wednesday lunch ride; now my Friday morning commute (29 miles one way) is looking to be straight into a wind-advisory level NE wind. Yeah it's not bad compared to cold areas, but it relatively sucks.

The wife and I found out recently that the owners of the home we're renting are considering selling it. So now the two year plan to buy a house gets compressed into a one year plan. Well, make that a seven month plan. Now we're not feeling so bad about having barely unpacked yet.

I was hoping to do a track day next year with the summer tires that came on the car. As I was swapping summers for winters, I discover two of the tires are punctured, and one of them was actually punctured twice. They had less than 1,700 miles on them and they're effing $250 a piece. Fat chance of me getting on the track next year.
