If you attached some outriggers it could shorten your commute drastically.

I've moved on from the Rokon.... It's all about a Magnatrac RS196K build it yourself mini dozer.

    Magnatrac RS196K

I'm actually serious about this one... It would take me 6 years of paying a guy to plow my driveway to recoup the cost. But I'd get to build and drive a mini tank.

The OLD Nau M3 Hoodie not this one. Mine is shot after three years and I dig it. NAU gussied it up and doubled the price. Bugger.
What I liked about the old M3 is that it was wool, crazy long sleeves and perfect under a coat.

That's just a gateway to another pita set of tests. In the grand scheme it is pretty anticlimactic.

Hey TT - have you taken a look at the Chrome wool hoodie. Mine has been bulletproof, is built for utility and remains pretty handsome. Long sleeves, too (though I recognize how relative that is).
This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the bike.

ugh, since 90+ % of my cell phone use is getting pestered by work, it's hard to get excited about anything mobile. as a matter of fact, speaking of "things i want like now", this would be pretty high on the list, i'd go back to the world of land-lines only any day.

I know the next step is just as annoying, but it's been a 20+ year journey to get to this point (18 credit hours away) and it'll satisfy an (implied) promise to my grandmother.
I just keep trying to remember the reason I'm doing this and ignore the missed bike rides, ignored friends and 30K a year that I could be dropping into a 401k.

At least when it's done, my mother can say 'my son's a lawyer'. When you pass the mid-century mark, there's a different set of reasons for this sort of self-flagellation.

(sort of) back to where this thread started, someone posted a link a while back to a website called Mr Porter, which, as it turns out, has a lot of "things I want, like, now" stuff...

came across these recently, which are pretty cool...

I still have my original pair from 1975 but may have to go for a spare. Anyone need a pretty new SRAM Red 10spd derailleur so I can pay for them? Julbos. They make you feel like Tenzing Norgay.

Not too heavy, not too stiff. I wear it on the trail and to work.

Joe that looks real real good. Hey, I just got a Eddie Bauer Cabin Sherpa Fleece Hoodie in L TALL. It is not wool but for knocking around perfect. Hello nurse. Perfect down to freezing with a baselayer and it really is a TALL. Strong Buy.
