* Still on baby-waiting watch. Doctors revised the due date from Wednesday (as in yesterday) to Saturday. This means that I'm still at work. Vacation for the remainder of August is on hold...
* MIL is in town, staying with us. While it's nice and all, especially as she'll love having grand-daughter time and will be a big help once baby finally DOES arrive, she is also a must-do-something-all-the-time kind of person. Makes it difficult for my wife to rest.
* Fekking insomnia. Okay, not really insomnia, I was just waking up about every hour all night. Finally gave up at 2:30 and just got up. Got to work early, so at least I can put in my 8 and get back home early as well.

Three times bringing the bike to the LBS Specialized store for them to order the correct pads and still not right. They say they will get it right this time. Giving them an opportunity for my business because they support our rides. Stood in line while one customer was getting a flat tire fixed ( new tube) and another was having the shop put on new tires. Takes a mechanic to do that you know. Mixed feelings about that because I know its business.

Yes I could have ordered off the internet, but I'm trying to support bike shops.

Got my tonsils out on Tuesday. Can't drink, eat or sleep. Throat feels like it is on fire. I will be better in a week and I had them taken out for a reason. I could probably stand to drop a few lbs anyway.

I had mine out at 18, coughed until they hemorrhaged and spent two weeks in the hospital. My favorite drink was ice cold flat sprite. Open the can and leave it in the fridge for an hour, pure goodness on a raw throat.
