    Default Pre-school Scholarship Programs

Does anyone know of pre-school scholarship programs?

My oldest daughter is "in" to the Greenwich Public Pre-school but the catch is I need to pay for it. I'm the person that makes too much to qualify for any sort of "help" but doesn't make enough to pay for it. I don't want to come across as complaining, I live a wonderful, amazing life. I just know we have so many, from different walks here on V Salon and I thought maybe there was a chance someone has a resource?

The deal is that my younger daughter has very rare, special needs and requires extra attention during the day from my wife, hence the interest in Pre-K for my older daughter.

    Thanks ahead of time.

    Justin

We have friends who live in New Haven and have a visually impaired child, and they suggest checking the website for the Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center. Special Education in CT - Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center There is a fairly long list of resources there. You are looking for support for your older daughter due to the demands of caring your younger daughter, and the website appears to be focused on support for the special needs child, but there must be someone who helps with sibling support as well. Your family cannot be the only one who needs this. You might check if Connecticut has a program for financial support for primary caregivers. I know that some states have funds for providing support to individuals in families who are the primary caregiver for another family member. Perhaps there are resources in a such a program that would allow shifting your earnings to school fees for your older daughter.

I am throwing ideas out a bit here. You may find a resource at the above link who is much more fluent in potential resources.
