First sentence in the second last paragraph. All Carbóns are built to order and available in 6 stock geometries or custom geometry.
Hey Craig the copy on the cx bike says you like to be closer to the ground, yet you spec 58mm of bb drop in bigger sizes
I think this is perfect as low bbs ride like ass
Great looking bike, I might hit you up to replace my fango when the time is right
The big bikes have slightly higher bbs- the thinking here is that bigger bikes have longer cranks- I want the bikes to work on the off-camber courses you see on Europe, and the issues that come up with high bbs are exaggerated the smaller the bike is and tend to disappear with really big bikes.
Just wanted to remind everyone that the dude behind this brand is just the best. I called in a small favor, and without any hesitation he went above and beyond.
Craig, I owe you a beer.
Got some cash
Bought some wheels
Took it out
'Cross the fields
Lost Control
Hit a wall
But we're alright
can we bring this thread back on topic please?
craig: somewhere on the internet you once wrote something about bikes that goes like this. but over here on some random guy's bike it almost looks like you did that, which might be different than this, although i might be perceiving it incorrectly or incompletely. regardless, explain yourself, you hypocrite!
yah - bored at work and wishing there was a good internet fight going on to watch involving parrot shit and whatnot but i see now it's going to take more than completely abstract stuff to get that going. nothing to see here, move along
now for something completely different - my corsa is rad. that is all.
New Gaulzetti website: Gaulzetti Cicli
Still working out the bugs and adding content, but this is the gist for now. Most of the same content that's been on the Embrocation site for a while but condensed into one, simple to navigate site.
It's very rare that someone buys one of our stock bikes as specified. We almost always make changes to the kits based on customer requests, which is fine, we'll do whatever. These pre-speced build kits serve as good touch-points for various price levels for complete bikes.
Right now, Mavic pricing structure to builders is in flux and we can't seem to get accurate information on their costs, so it's hard to factor them into the pricing for complete bikes. We may add them in when that pricing is worked out, but for now we've filled in wheels we think are good matches to the kit and pricing level of each bicycle build. Shimano wheels on Shimano builds; Campy on Campy, etc for the most-part.
Mavic wheels are great and we can supply them, but for the sake of simplicity we've taken them out of the complete bike packages for the moment.
Surprised to see the oversize head tube and PF30 options on the Cazzo page - has one been built with these options yet?
Nope. But they're options nonetheless.
