How long until pitchers and catchers report? College baseball starts here right after Feb 1. Can't wait.

The Seahawks intrigued me but I have to admit I'm in a cynical period about the NFL in general. I can't get past Goodell and the general propaganda atmosphere he has cultivated. He's a fixer but only at the image level, which is less honest than doing nothing at all in my opinion. The game has serious effects on humans and he's nothing but a more meddlesome Bud Selig.
SF is a psychologically fascinating team to watch develop.

Had a long convo with the local JC pitching coach yesterday. The boys are a bit soft. Season is right around the corner here too.

brady era in the rear view mirror i guess.
great run. great run by welker too.

good for baltimore. they beat the hell out of them.
ne had no pass rush, no deep receivers and big trouble in deep coverage.
    fun while it lasted.

Batted balls at the line. Brady used to have one of the quickest deliveries in football. Maybe he is off a step. Plus I think Gronkowski's absence was hard to fill, especially since he could run downfield routes instead of just the typical TE routes across the middle.

But the Ravens may have also had the better coach. And the psychological advantage.

I hate the ravens, but as I predicted above they will win. 2 weeks of avoiding talk about the Harbowl is a perfectly awful ending to a perfectly awful season.

As a Jets fan, go ahead and laugh, I spend a lot of time watching other teams in the playoffs. That being said I think SF will pull out the win. Flacco has been great the past few weeks, but I don't know how long he'll stay good. (I had him in fantasy football and started him twice as compared to Cam Newton, who almost always did better on a week to week basis) Kapernick is good enough to outrun most of the Ravens and he's got plenty of good targets to hit. Should be a great game.

Turned on the TV and found, to my surprise, a late winter exhibition game being played.

Someone needs to cue Roger Goodell in on that home generator thread with the automatic start function.

I don't think I would ever want to tackle Anquan Bolden. He definitely gets his piece on the way down.

That power outage was the best thing for SF
Falling from high places, falling through lost spaces,
Now that we're lonely, now that there's nowhere to go.
