Cabin Porn is one of my favorite web-pages dot period. I was stoked to see 44's barn featured on there a few weeks ago.

Not really off the grid either, but no land line, televison or internet. I do have a cell tower about a mile away which is kind of cheating. I love riding up there except during the chance pass of a log truck.

I think I'll eventually live in a shipping container house. A metal cabin for a metal worker.

I forget who it was but there's a boutique guitar amp builder on a forum I used to be active on who does that. Lives in the bay area and has his container on a barge docked up somewhere.

This doesn't look like Shakopee to me.

Nope. That would be Isabella. I've spent one weekend in Shakopee in the last ten. I'd be there permanently if my wife didn't have a great career here in the metro.

No downhill for me. I suck and think I can contribute the arthritis in my right hip to falling on it too often as a youngster. A little xc, snowshoe and sled action. I just really like riding on the highways up there. We have a bunch of new blacktop north of us towards Ely that is just wonderful to ride.

We were going to do one of these in the Chiricahua Mountains of southeast AZ. Then we moved.

Those look really cool! My friend's dad is doing something like that with shipping containers in the man camps in the western ND oil fields.
