FookinA, you too? ... Up the bucks a little and get her a chunky colorful stupid looking BabyG watch. That's what I did for my ostensibly adult's 18th a month ago. It was a hit, with her and her friends (which was probably far more important than what she actually thought of it).

She subjects me to pure shit music on a regular basis; so I subject her to the Clash. At least she's developing a grudging appreciation for the Smiths (and I'm taking her to the Morrissey show in Denver in Feb .. we were supposed to see him on her 18th bday in November, but he postponed because his mommy in dear old England was sick. I don't have a problem with that.)

18 year old daughters are both agony and ecstasy. Mostly one, or the other. If I don't want to murder mine, I want to hold her tight.

Both daughters also like their babyG. The only issue is color is subjective. They both have White Series.
