Now I just have to make the sleeves. This was a lot of work between grinding custom lathe bits and milling 1/8" slots, I'd probably just buy one in the future

Very cool. Yes you could buy one for less but what fun would that be. I've always thought the stuff you make yourself is the best stuff, kinda has a "soul". Keep makin and keep sharing.

Yeah, I'm not sorry for making my own stuff, and yeah it's a wonderful experience. I just don't have much time, and it seems I spend all of it making tools and not so much of it making bikes. Hopefully all this tooling will pay off and make thing easier when I start to build again. Thanks for your inspiration, and help with sizing.
