Re: Apple kills another product
I got 2nd place in a belly flop contest at the Candy Store back in the early 80's (at 155 lbs.).
Guy that won was nicknamed "Baby Whale" He displaced more water, but my flop could be heard all the way to Daytona Beach. Ah ... wet Ts everywhere (from the splash, of course).
A LOT of my activities would have been more carefully executed if iPhones were around back then.

I taught at Arizona State University for a while. The kids all went to Puerto Penasco. One of my students ended up in one of those Girls Gone Without A Lot of Clothing videos. A co-worker of her father's (awkward) brought it to his attention, and her parents came to school to "collect" her and take her back to northern Arizona.
I also got flashed in class a couple times by women who seemed to think that was part of the assignment, and I had a female student offer to meet me "anywhere I wanted to" in order to discuss extra credit because she really needed an A. I wrote a few CYA reports for my department head that went into an ever-growing file in his office.

I was in college when FB first came into existence. When it was only college students. Lotsa good stuff on there! Halloween was always a good time to browse pictures...
But now, everyone is on, and rarely do you see that stuff posted any more. My grandparents on there even.

I for one am happy that my South Padre Island antics are NOT on record!
