Aluminum Welders in Las Vegas Area

I've got a French couple doing a world tour on a Hase Pino Tandem, which has unfortunately broken less than a year into the game. I've got the OK from Hase to have the frame repaired so they can continue until it can be replaced with a re-enforced model. They are currently in Bakersfield,CA heading for Las Vegas.
Anyone out there who feels up to the task? Please!? 7005 aluminum frame, anyone doing repairs would not be in any way held responsible if the repair should not hold!!!!! This is a temporary fix so the poor kids can continue their journey.

Look into the off-road racing/fab world - there are Moto & Rail racers who would be up to the task.
Some real fabrication gurus in those fields. Other then that the closest Al bike guy would be Tsunami in PHX area or Gilmour in Tucson that I know of.

Just got an off list reply along those lines if that doesn't pan out I'll look up those bike guys. Mexico is next on their list so at least the'd be going in the right direction sort of.

can they warrenty their tandem for a steel one?
Take the difficulty they are having fixing the tandem and multiply x 1000.
All you'll see there is stick welding & A/O - and worse roads.........

No not really. The version they have has a demountable frame and exists only in Aluminum. The steel version exists only as a one-piece frame.
Hase, the manufacturer has re-enforced [amazingly enough in exactly the spot where the frame in question broke (can you smell the sarcasm)] the 2012 model which should be deliverable end of Jan. That is why the couple are not being sent a new frame immediately.

Yes they should all be Steel but alas they are not.
