Pop has a bulged disc and a litany of other lower back problems.

I don't know all of the specifics, but I'd appreciate PM's re: experienced surgeons and specialists in the Atlanta, GA region.

I don't have a specific doctor to recommend but I'd suggest that he contact the Shepard Spinal Clinic at Piedmont Hospital and have them provide some recommendations. fwiw, I think Saul Raisin was treated there. They (Shepard Spinal) have a pretty good reputation.
