So when I'm not painting I help out at the chop shop..We build mainly xs650 chops but have built frames for alot of different brands.
all handmade,hand bent,and TIG welded.
Here's a frame for a sportster/buelll power chop.
and here is a set of stainless handle bars I designed and built..
Thanks for sharing this. Your ride is excellent, I'm digging that you made it.
I rode Honda's than BMWs for about 10 yrs. than quit riding. When I start again it will be for fun vs getting to work on time.
Do you know Shoe, Heath and Randy D? They are from Indy.
Yeah I know Shoe and Heath..I have met Randy D through mutual friends..
How do you know them, you know being inn england and all..
Have you ever checked out GKM?
Yeah the bike sits pretty low,If I recall the ride height is 3 1/8 inches...
It's a small world. I've been friends with those guys for years, know a few more from Indy Wes, Shortbus etc. We all met on-line originally but we've hung out a few times in person too.

nice work, I have an old panhead, that needs a new hardtail frame. Havent given the project any attention in years. It is sitting in an aftermarket swingarm right now, but that just doesn't do justice to my old pan. Is this a project you would be interested in?
The first thing I did after looking at the photo of your personal bike is to type xs650 into the search bar of my local craigslist. I'll be having me some of that thank you.
Been lurking here a while and saw this thread pop up- figure it's a good opportunity to dive in... For a while I did some vintage road racing here in the North East with clubs like the USCRA (USCRA Home) and WERA (WERA Motorcyle Road Racing :: Home :: v2011n11x9 ::). As a fabricator I ended of doing a lot of modifications and repairs on my own bikes which snowballed into working on other people's stuff. Everything from frame and exhaust repair to new constructions from vintage blueprint and spec. Fun stuff. You can see some pics below...

that's a start. There's more of course but mostly the same sort of thing. I always dig seeing the custom MC frames and parts- lots of names we would all recognize from cycling. Cool stuff.
So there we go- first post complete!
