    Default Alloy frame/anodizng

I'm looking into doing an alloy (7xxx series) cross frame for next season--ideally I'd like to get it hard ano'd (mil-spec type-3 hard ano would be rad).

Is there anything in particular about the fabrication that needs attention with this in mind? For example stops riveted on beforehand ok? Does it need to be bead-blasted, etc, etc?

I just stumbled upon some production drawings. We specify 5356 weldrod on ano'd bikes as the weld bead takes the color best.

    Thanks Mickey--ur boss dude...

Stopped by the anodizer's yesterday. Apparently 7xxx series doesn't plate as well as 6xxx on account of the copper content. They also asked for big purge holes so solvent comes out relatively easy.
