There's some work to do yet, but initially it came out pretty good. I've got some orange peal in the clear or bubbling under the clear on the silver. The red candy all turned out great, 100% Powder at the moment but I'm wondering if a wet clear would have been better
no making the frame shots this week, I have been busy with Mum and her broken ankle
but frame building content prevails
Bevan's Klein is now ebay fodder
as he collected his new cycle with recycled parts
The frame uses a set OS Compact lugs.
Sloping top tubes are super for getting one's handle bars higher and still looking sweet

Late to the party this week. Fate had me running into a bunch of "can't turn that down" kind of deals over the past few weeks. This week I worked on bringing them into the family. "They don't make them like they used to" vise from a retiring machinist at my day job.
My wall of Anvil fixtures is complete. Main Tube Mitering System bought from Drew Guildian. Precision t-slot plate came with the granite surface plate I recently bought.
High quartz 10" thick 36" x 48" granite inspection table. Isolation stand damaged in transit. Finally got the granite slab off the stand and will now repair it.
Oh yeah. I build frames too. This is Maietta #50. My new personal road bike. Mostly built at Carl Strong's shop last weekend. This will be the last you see of it until Austin. 4 months to figure out the most kick-ass paint I can think of.
