    Default WTB: XCr Down Tube

    Evening,

    I ordered a set of XCr tubes from Nova today and as it turns out it was the last one they had; and the last one they will be getting for 6-8 weeks. The one problem, the set is missing the down tube. SO...does anyone out there have an XCr down tube I could buy? If not, does anyone know where I could buy one?

    On a related note, Nova said Columbuis was "redoing the sizing" of the set. Not sure what they plan to do.

    Thanks,
    Tony

    Well then I'd be stuck with another XCr set minus a DT! If I can't find one by Friday I'll hit you up.

    Thanks!

    I am not so sure it is "redoing the resizing"
    but rather it is more additions to the range.

    Dario Pegoretti and I have been chatting with Columbus about a XL size set for lugs HT 36, DT 34.9, TT 31.7, ST 31.7 and CS and SS with 12.5 tips.
    The "Cadenzia" tube set
    I got the first two prototype tube sets made and I built one set up and took it to NAHBS {blue and red fixie}

    Also a XCr in OS Spirit for Lugs sizes with the PegoRichie CS shape is in the pipe line.

    The material is difficult to shape and requires a lot more working and supply of the raw material is limited and holds up production.
    These tubes are not in production yet, and I am not sure when they will be available. Some time this year is expected.

    Sorry, I cannot help with the 38 DT

    You're not kidding. It felt like I needed to use a new hole saw for each miter.
