2 weeks until Le Mans, and I just discovered this. There’s even footage of spectators’ cars entering the venue at about 7-10 minutes in:

Great footage indeed.
The lack of separation from track/road and spectators trees at the time makes me remember that the Isle of Man TT practices are starting today.

Re: Automobiles
Friends in Catskill went to the Isle of Man TT's, rented motorcycles and rode the course. He has a garage full of motorcycles so this was a life moment for him. His only regret is that he couldn't bring one of his bikes with him to ride on the course, though he said it is always better to crash a rental bike.
He didn't crash.

Re: Automobiles
I wouldn’t want to ride that course on a sport bike. I’d want at least a naked bike or something more upright so I could get a good look at the whole scene.

I believe they rented BMW's.

Saw a Lotus Emira in blue being parallel park in Long Island City. No pictures as I was avoiding being squashed by a city articulated bus.
But then saw this. Brooklyn never disappoints…(Sorry, I couldn’t figure out how to post video so you have to click it to make it go to flickr and then click it to make it play…)

Really enjoying this one so far. Did a day trip to PA and back this week and if the onboard computer is accurate, I got 28mpg over nearly 300 miles. Not too shabby.

I put down a deposit for a Volvo EX30. I looks great but not sure I want to wait a year.

Looks like it might be a cool car. I'd wait.

Yeah, we might get something used in the meantime to replace out Fit. After 15 years we are both ready to move on.

15! That's a pretty good run I must say.

A4 Allroad. It ticks a lot of boxes: Comfortable and practical with a dashes of luxury & sportiness.

Well, it’s better than a SUV or pick up. It is a “mild” hybrid, and we’ve seen much better fuel economy with Audis than their EPA estimates; even the 6 cylinder supercharged vehicle we took on our recent trip gave us 32-33 mpg. I expect this will do better.
