Here's what I know.

1. Neon paint sucks at staying neon if it gets hit with the UV rays a lot.

2. If you don't use the high-falooootin' UV blocking clear coats neon paint sucks even more at staying neon.

3. I live in Los Angeles -- sunny 300+ days a year.

4. I'm pretty sure the more the color is on the red side of things the faster it fades.


Those of you who have used neon/fluorescent paint, what kind've lifespan are you seeing?
I've heard some car guys say you can start to see a fade after a week. I've heard other people say only to use the HoK stuff and that it lasts longer.
