I have been practising brass lug and sleeve brazing with little success. With a lot of practice, I have become a decent brass fillet brazer and lug brazer using silver but I feel like I am getting nowhere with lug brazing with brass. I have cut a bunch of 4130 tube sleeves 1-3" long as my practice pieces. I am using a Victor J28 torch with a # 3 and #4 tip with Oxy/Actylene. The flux is the Blue flavor from Henry James(can't remember the name right now). I have read a ton and watched all the YouTube videos on the subject that I can find. I was wondering if there is anyone in the Toronto,Canada area that could give me some lessons? I would love to take a frame builders course but can't take the time off from work and family obligations at the moment. Thanks.
