I found a shoebox filled with hundreds of 4 X 5 transparencies going back to the late 1970s, all studio shots from several photographers I used and befriended along the way. I have to find some technology to better show them in a post but for the moment I decided to hold them up to the light, take its picture using my Nikon SLR whatever it's called, and drag them into Photo.

This image is from 1984 and was taken by Ray Perkins when he was still in Chicago. I'm partial to complete (assembled) bicycle pictures because they tell the entire story. But this one of the seat lug area and a bit beyond always made me wet and sticky. I love how the light line on the tube has a parallel thing going on, as if it's a separate detail that has nothing to do with my work or the superb high gloss paint job that JB applies.

I hope you don't bore easily. I may be posting these pictures of pictures for a while until I can figure out where I stand on the disc brake issue. Follow me on Instagram here.
