Here's my Universal Geneve. I inherited it in 1985. This was my grandfather's watch and I believe he acquired it in the 1950s. Not exactly sure. It was a gift to him from a good friend. I remember him wearing it all the time. He was a fine woodworker and carpenter and wore it while he worked. I really think it's a sharp looking watch. Very simple and no date feature, which I prefer. It's self-winding, which I'm not crazy about, but I can live with it.

Anyway, it needs to be serviced. Can anyone recommend where I can get this done? Also, he replaced the crystal with a plastic one (I have no idea if the original was glass, but assume it was) and I'd like to get a glass version installed while it's being serviced.

I absolutely love this watch and would really like to wear it everyday, just like my Grampie.
