my brief ride on windows 10

I have w 7.
works ok for me...
somehow I must have clicked on update to 10... inadvertent for sure.
dicked with it for 15 minutes and reverted to 7.

my interest in relearning this stuff is extremely low and my desire to redo sites, etc very low.

im sure some/ many of you have made this move
any comments overall?

Windows 7 works for me. Until I com to the conclusion that the solution is no longer optimal I have no interest in 'upgrading'. Right now, Microsoft is selling something I don't need or want. Kind of the way I feel about electronic shifting and disc on road bikes. I'm from Missouri. -Mike G

I think the update program is getting more sneaky. My w7 system also got magically upgraded as well... So far it has been fine but I disabled almost all of the new stuff...

I'm still on XP. I think the time has come to move on to something else. I am tempted to try Ubuntu, or something Linux based, but I am a bit out of my element with computers in recent years. My needs are simple, email, internet, maybe a spreadsheet here and there.


Any advice for me?
