Go-to for basic powdercoating?
Building a commuter for a friend. Not enough budget for wet paint. Who's the go-to for a decent frame/fork powdercoat job, and about what should it cost? They want a Celeste color, but I have a lead on the proper color code for something that should work.
Bonus if they're in the Philadelphia, PA area.
Thanks,
Pete

Pete,
I've been following these guys on Instagram and they do some nice work... Powder Coating in New Jersey New Jersey. They're in South Jersey, maybe 15-20 min across the river in Sewell. Also, I have a friend who is a painter at one of the larger auto body shops in Chester County. He does side work and has done some nice custom paint jobs on cars, motos and bike frames among other random stuff. I can reach out to him if you'd like. he's put up pics of a few things he's done on his instagram page: NickMcCormick @nickmccormick Instagram photos | Websta (Webstagram). He painted one of my old frames pearl white with pearl blue flames and it turned out great.

Here's who I use for all my powdercoating: c4labs
Price includes stripping. A little pricey, but you'll get exactly what you want and it will look perfect. Fast turn around times, and it's within driving distance of Philly. They specialize in bikes.

I've used Wicked Powder Coating for a couple of my frames. I'm planning to use Sportbike Powder Coating for my next frame. He has some impressive work on his facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sport...49033788453932

Contact Bilenky Cycles in Philadelphia. They subcontract their powdercoating so they can speak to the quality of their vendor's work.
Bilenky's phone number is at the bottom of the link for quick, easy reference.

Bilenky has been using Wicked Powder Coating lately. Mike has posted some of the frames he did for them on his Facebook page.
