Default iGear: iPhone / iPad app

    Hello everybody!

I've developed an app (download free) to calculate gears on a bike. It's intended for mountain biking and ready for new Sram's XX1.

    Hope it comes handy!

You might be onto something interesting for coaching mtn bike athletes. Myself and others have struggled some with the fact that off road power tends to have many more and frequent spikes ( stochastic is the word for you geeks ) thus making it harder read. Scatter diagrams are pretty cool in my mind because you correlate successful performance and less than good performance with one two or three data streams that you deem relevant....at least in this coach's mind! Ouch. Pedal harder can only get you so far ;)

    Luis,
Like the wheel size comparison. Good addition.
    Thanks.

Well, you can easily obtain info from scatters. I must say that they are a pain in the ass to work with.

Oops! Wheel size com parison is only for iPad, iPhone screen is too small to display all the textfields needed.

Now on sale the Pro version. Results are displayed on a graphical represantation and you can work with gear inches or metric. Some road cassettes added and a few fixes. Using an iPad, you can compare two different transmissions.
