Its been a big one:
Finished, polished and delivered this fillet brazed road frame, one of my favorites yet (rabbit not included):
My girlfriend and I decided that two weeks solid without a break deserved a day off, so we went to Sydney and hopped a ferry to Cockatoo Island, and old ship building site which has been converted into a big art gallery for this month. She loved the artwork, I lost my shit over the massive machine tools that they still had laying around:
How is that for a lathe, bed of about 20 metres, chuck larger than I am tall
And the controls for a boring machine, which had a boring head that was ~2m wide:
Came back to the real world and put in a big week finishing up Melvin's frame, just need to finish the fork:
Pump peg doohickey
Stainless plates to prevent paint damage by the pump
Finito
Starting on the fork
Also pickup up this NOS set of Reynolds Speedstream tubing, pretty rare apparently?
And one final shot, machining up a light mount for my girlfriends bike
